The Human Computer Interface in Medicine Sample Essay

The Human Computer Interface in Medicine Sample EssayA Human Computer Interface (HCI) can be defined as an interconnection of different human cognitive systems and thus, it plays a vital role in any intelligent system. However, you may ask if the Human Computer Interface in Medicine sample essay is just based on a human and software interface? That is a good question since technology is not known for being perfect so what you write will reflect your personality and personal preferences. An interface is an important component to any system and most especially when we talk about the human systems. Think about all those details which are commonly used in writing and editing for example, make sure you explain to the readers in your essay what the title of the article is and why it is important. Also consider the keyword elements and also the key term phrases, and the titles and sections of the chapter or section, and make sure they are used in the appropriate way. If you know some topics that you are able to share with the readers then use them wisely in your sample essay. You may have heard that human beings are programmed for their own personal characteristics, which can be found in their emotions and personal characteristics. However, you may not like this idea and that is a valid point, but one thing which you cannot ignore is the fact that people are thinking systems, which are designed to deal with other thinking systems and thus, no one can prevent them from being biased. You need to believe in yourself and also other attributes that are related to you. For example, your personality, religion, culture, income, etc are all considered to be your personality and you cannot change these attributes. However, if you are preparing for a research project, you should provide more details about the questions to be asked, the methodology and also the kinds of results that you want to obtain. This is not always mandatory but it is a good strategy to make sure that you prep are everything thoroughly before you enter the analysis phase. However, if you are planning to conduct the research project yourself, you must be able to provide research data or even the same information you will give to the subject who is to answer the questionnaire. There are many online resources where you can find many examples of good research projects.I am not advocating that the Human Computer Interface in Medicine sample essay is nothing but a tool to find a partner to do research or just an extension of your personality. On the contrary, we have seen a lot of modern jobs that were initially based on interaction with machines. Now, if you are able to analyze the interface between human and machine, you can surely achieve more benefits.Make sure that you do not shy away from making things impossible! Your answers must match the questions you have asked, so that your work does not become boring. In short, your approach should reflect the human side of you.

Justin Leung Ms. Fernandez Essays - Greek Mythology, Mythology

Justin Leung Ms. Fernandez 12/30/16 ELA p. 3 Pygmalion Essay: Many may implore to ask and know: Do we create our own identity, or does identity create us? Our identity is what explains our lifetime story: it upholds our emotions, relations, goals, pasts, strengths, and weaknesses. It gives us an impression and creates a response of our lives and time. It embodies the essential and generic character of clashing instances in which constitutes to the reality of our mortal-self. Nevertheless, our language and relationships-- our elements of expression in which create and define our being of life--are the most important factors and composition of our unique and worldly identity as human beings. The myth "Pygmalion" displays our relations of identity throughout the text. For instance, the text states, "I must choose where I love...there is no life without love. I know how you can do it. Look. I stand here. I place my hand about her; my face against hers." This demonstrates how Pygmalion of Cyprus felt dearly about the goddess Aphrodite and instantly fell in love with the statue he created depicting her. Pygmalion spoke of how his heart felt right with hers to come and expressed his relation to her in a sense that distinguished him from his desires. Thus he explained how he could not have truly loved her, but in that sense he could not have lived without his love setting forth his own thoughts and emotions in the presence of Aphrodite. In addition the myth of "Daedalus" states, "...and there, as the lad stretched his arms towards the heavens, Daedalus stepped softly behind him, placed his hands on his shoulders, and pushed" This conveys how Daedalus' actions proved his vengeful and arrogant expression at first; and that showed to Athena how he was unfit for such a noble position as her favorite. Even so, his language of distinction also changed not himself as an individual, but his relation with the Goddess Athena, indicating a relation and effectiveness between that of relation and language. Daedalus later became a comprehensive understanding man of a acceptance, honor, and loyalty in the end alongside his son, Icarus, inside the labyrinth. In brief, the myths of "Pygmalion" and "Daedalus" prove how one's own language and relation of expression is the most important contributor to the shaping of the initial identity, both in the sense of truth and morality. Pygmalion had loved Aphrodite beyond looks and all; and showed forgiveness in heart and soul. Daedalus gave a passageway of how language correlates with relation in his life with Athena and the townsfolk; of King Minos and his son, Icarus.

The use of vivid or figurative language to represent objects, actions, or ideas. Most images in literature suggest or represent concepts or emotions that are difficult to describe or imagine. â€Å"Transcendent† symbols are symbols which have no logical or realistic connection to the things they symbolize. Much of the imagery in John Donne’s poem â€Å"The Flea† is transcendent imagery which is used to illustrate an argument. In the first stanza, the narrator tries to persuade his girlfriend to have sex with him by using an analogy involving a flea and religious imagery. The flea has sucked the blood of both the narrator and his girlfriend and now â€Å"in this flea, [their] two bloods mingled be.† The image of the two bloods being mingled represents the narrator and his girlfriend becoming one, as happens in a religious sense during sexual intercourse - a physical and spiritual union of two souls. The narrator then goes on to say â€Å"Confess it, this cannot be said / A sin, or shame, or loss of maidenhead,† meaning that if a flea can mix their two bloods and it is not a sin, then surely it would not be a sin if they were to become one through intercourse. Then, as another attempt to persuade his girlfriend, the narrator goes on to say: â€Å"And pampered swells with one blood made of two, / And this, alas, is more than we would do.† The narrator uses the imagery of â€Å"swe lls with one blood made of two† to represent being pregnant, and claims that his girlfriend would not be pregnant from having sex just one time, although the flea was pregnant from just one mixing of the blood. In the second stanza, the girlfriend rejects the narrator’s first argument and is about to squish the flea, symbolizing her rejection of the narrator’s argument. The narrator asks his girlfriend to spare the flea because in it â€Å"[they] more than married are.† Once again, this statement symbolizes a physical union of the narrator and his gir... FINAL ESSAY Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 500 words

FINAL - Essay Example However, there are possible legal theories that will govern the litigant’s trial strategy. For instance, if the defendant is impecunious and his liability insurance will not cover punitive damages it will not make sense to pursue punitive damages since it is commonly believed that when juror’s award punitive damages they tend to be quire modest in compensatory damages awards. Guided by this legal theory the litigant will likely proceed with a trial strategy that abandons a claim for punitive damages.(Blanchard, p. 502) In Blanchard’s second example, the plaintiff is injured in a car accident in which the defendant driver had consumed alcoholic beverages prior to the accident. While the consumption of alcohol is evidence of the defendant’s negligence the defendant might adapt a legal theory that supports a contention that the plaintiff knew that the defendant had been drinking and therefore voluntarily assumed the risk by getting in the car driven by the de fendant. Based on this legal theory the plaintiff’s trial strategy will involve shifting the focus away from the defendant’s alcohol consumption.(Blanchard, P. 503) There are two methods by which a witness can be compelled to appear at a trial at a specific time for the purpose of cross-examination. One method is by application to the court for a pretrial order requiring the witness to appear for cross-examination. Once the court makes the order the witness is under an obligation to appear or face prosecution for contempt of court. (Blanchard p.510) The second method of compelling a witness to appear at a trial at a particular time for cross-examination is by virtue of a subpoena. Proof of service of the subpoena is necessary following which the court has the authority to hold a non-complying witness in contempt or to delay proceedings until such time as the witness can be brought to court by

Marketing report Essay Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 2250 words

Marketing report - Essay Example This strategy, attributed mostly to Ford Chairman Alan Mullaly, provided the firm the necessary resources to develop a very conscious and deliberate branding strategy. The continuous marketing and development of Ford Focus- one of the leading international brands of the firm shall therefore be viewed from the perspective of this new change in focus and the approach. (Daye & VanAuken, 2010). The current brand management program for the car is mostly focused on exploring the brand name of the Ford itself as well as the new and renewed strategy of managing only those brands which can be successfully marketed. The new paradigm in Ford therefore is based upon successfully managing the existing brands by cutting down those brands which cannot be successfully marketed. This report will discuss critically the current brand management techniques adapted for this brand besides performing the external environment assessment and how the firm can actually improve its CRM as well as MKIS for this brand. Ford Focus- a brief Review Ford Focus is one of the most successful brands of Ford which is being successfully marketed all over the world under the same name. ... It is also important to note that the Focus is priced reasonably however, it is still considered as one of the luxury brands aimed at consumers who are willing to afford high priced luxury cars. Due to this market segmentation strategy, Ford has been able to consistently market this product across the different markets with relative success. One of the key aspects of the overall brand strategy for this brand is the deliberate strategy for not rolling out the different brand extensions. It is generally believed that the brand extensions in automobile industry tend to weaken the existing brands and it is therefore critical that the automobile firms must engage into the practice of brand consolidation in order to ensure that the existing brands continue to perform and develop into leading market brands.(Lambin, Chumpitaz, & Schuiling, 2007). Current Brand Management Program As discussed above that the Ford has adapted a deliberate strategy of managing its current brands by discarding th ose brands which are hard to sell and manage. Due to financial crisis, most of the automobile firms faced significant financial constraints and reverted to further rationalize their product lines in order to become more efficient and effective in managing only those brands which can be successfully marketed. An effective branding strategy requires the successful leveraging of the power of the brand in order to cover the market more effectively. (Aaker, 2002) In order to effectively understand and critically analyse the current branding strategy for the Ford Focus will suggest that it is a sub-brand of the Ford itself. Given the market power of Ford as well as its overall market reputation, Ford Focus therefore tends to thrive on the strong brand image of Ford itself.
